DESCRIPTION OF THE GOALS OF THIS COMMITTEE: (posted Feb 20, 2010)

This section was established in response to the desire of many Wisconsin pediatricians to stay connected to the chapteras a way on continuing their carrer-long interest in promoting the welfare of children.

To that end, the section has established the following goals:

1. Helping pediatricians with retirement problems
2. Facilitating volunteerism
3. Offering help to recent retirees ans soon-to-be retirees.
4. Having and advocacy role.
5. Helping with the writing of a chapter history.
6. Mentoring of pediatricians just starting practice.
