Alert: Measles in Wisconsin
A message from our infectious Disease Committee Chair, Jim Conway. It now looks like we've hit the trifecta in Wisconsin - mumps(2005-6),
measles and now rubella. Please be alert for patients with fever & rash, especially those who are underimmunized or with travel or
other possible exposures. Remember that samples go to the state lab and not to commercial labs as both the turnaround and cost are far better.
Information from Wisconsin Health Department reviewing acceptible evidence for immune status for measles.

anytime there is action on a piece of legislation that you would like to follow. It’s called The Wisconsin Legislative
Notification System and it allows anyone the opportunity to follow legislation by receiving daily or weekly emails for
specific legislative activities. You can choose items by Proposal, Committee, Author or Subject and can select the activities
for which you would like to receive notifications.
