Position Statement on Health Care Reform in Wisconsin
Developed by the Wisconsin Pediatric Council and approved by the WIAAP Board of Directors 7/27/07

Drs. Meurer, Eisenberg and Hennes met with members of the WI Health Project  which is a grant-funded, non-profit organization designed to tackle the two major health care programs facing Wisconsin : a large and growing uninsured population, and double-digit increases in health care costs.

Drs. Meurer, Eisenberg and Lamont met several leaders of State of WI Office of the Commissioner of Insurance .

Dr Meurer has been asked to serve on Wisconsin 's Medicaid Advisory Committee which advises the Medicaid agency about health and medical care services.

Examples of issues the council hopes to address
